Through movement, live sound, costume and image, the work moves through shifting states of uncertainty, recklessness and euphoria. Rather than offering a fixed narrative, Body Story opens a charged space where the body becomes both subject and material: carrying memory, cultural history, queerness, fantasy, vulnerability and transformation.

Performed with long-time collaborator and composer Alistair Deverick, this version brings the world of Body Story 0.25 into a live relationship with sound and space. Alistair’s live composition responds to the body in real time, creating a shifting atmosphere where rhythm, texture and movement meet.

Presented at Objectspace, the work steps outside the traditional theatre frame and into a more immediate gallery encounter. The audience meets the body up close, where movement, sound and image unfold in direct proximity. The gallery becomes part of the choreography: a space where the body can shift, resist, transform and become image, archive and story.

This Tempo Dance Festival version of Body Story 0.25 offers a close encounter with a body in transformation, asking what the body remembers, what it carries, and what it can become.
