Abroad, Holly was a dancer in Jillian Myers’ showing of ‘Questions and Answers’ in Tokyo, Japan, which was a career highlight. She has also completed a dance contract with Celebrity X Cruises, onboard cruise ship, Millennium.
Holly’s love for creating has led her to many choreographic opportunities. Some of her Choreography credits include ‘Tempo Dance Festival’, ‘Taking Dance to the People’ by Dance Aotearoa NZ, and ‘The Blank Kanvas’ event. As a dancer and creative, Holly is driven by the way art can move people, and contribute to change and healing, within us and around us.

Holly Finch on working with Tempo Dance Festival
“Tempo welcomed me with open arms when I applied for the Bloom programme in 2019. I was (and am) discovering my artistic voice within a diverse range of movement/ stylistic influences. I felt valued and supported by Cat Ruka and the team, and learnt so much creating my first pop up performance in the Q theatre foyer. The following year I was lucky enough to be programmed in ‘Bloom’ which led to an online short film series called ‘Mindsky’. I am excited to create a short live theatre work for the 2021/22 festival, and cherish the platform that Tempo Dance Festival provides artists, and the dance community.”
